AGM Adder V2 LRF 60-1280
The AGM AdderV2 LRF 60-1280 exemplifies the peak in modern day electro-optical development. Just a few short years ago, doubling the resolution of some of the most high-end 640 resolution riflescopes was unheard of. Now, AGM is proud to bring its first ever 1280x1024 resolution thermal device to the market in an incredibly sleek traditional 30mm tube design.
Although bringing attention to the sensor alone should be enough to grab most shooter’s attention, that wouldn’t do justice to all the other included improvements inside this unit. It also packs a well-disguised 1000m laser rangefinder neatly tucked into the germanium lens assembly, as well as an incredible crisp new high resolution 2560x2560 display. These combine to provide the most detailed thermal image that AGM has ever produced.
The 60mm lens is the perfect size as its not too big to make mounting difficult on different weapons platforms, but its still large enough to raise the base magnification to a perfect 2.5X. Like all Adder V2 models, this unit will have the ability to change from step zoom (doubling the magnification each press of the button) to an 0.5X incremental zoom, so that there are no large gaps in the zoom range that shooters cannot take advantage of.
User’s will also be quick to notice the new semi-circular display that lies within the viewing area. This will give users a more traditional scope feel when viewing through the device, and its new red and green monochrome color palettes will provide those with more sensitive eyes to avoid the “night blindness” that so many experience after long term viewing with a digital optic.
Â
Of course, these new features are integrated with many of the other great features that have become standard across AGM’s highly-technical product line: on board ballistic calculator, 1000yd laser rangefinder, on board video/audio recording, 64GB of internal storage, AGM Connect app compatibility, cold & warm viewing modes, 10 brightness & contrast settings, 9hr battery life between two internal batteries and (1) removable 18650 and a new 1.7in one-piece 30mm ADM Recon Mount ($200+ value). AGM – Vision Without Limits.
